Goodger was far more that Staier’s, Watts and Welch’s. Buttsworths and so many others were/are all parts of the local scene and we look forward to their input

Jim Watts (left)- a tower of strength, was a bullocky (bullock team driver) before he was a farmer - from Killarney if my memory is any good. In pic he is rolling a smoke, lived to a very old age
Arthur Staier is next to the right, his parents to his right. For the great grandfather , already a massive technological change had taken place during his lifetime , pre electricity, pre cars, pre internal combustion, pre aircraft etc etc
Likely bagging maize 🌽, 2nd thoughts it maybe a cereal grain on Staier farm - Goodger
