Our little street library is officially open! 📚🌿

Built with a love of stories, fantasy worlds, unforgettable characters, and the magic that books can bring, this tiny library is here for everyone in our community to enjoy.

How it works:

📖 Take a book

📚 Leave a book (if you can)

💛 Return books when you’re finished

✨ Share the joy of reading with others

You’re welcome to borrow, swap, donate, or simply stop by and have a browse. Whether you love fantasy, romance, thrillers, classics, or children’s books, I hope this little library helps stories find new homes and new readers.

The days are getting darker quicker!
The Lambrigg Library is lit inside and out in case you're out for an evening stroll and want to check out a book or two 🥰

It's the perfect time of year to cozy up with a good book; be sure to stop by one of the 3 Googong Street libraries to pick up a book!

The Lambrigg Road street library is now ready to use! 🥰
Borrow, swap, or leave a book to share 🥰

We're right near the dog park, near corner of Hungerford Street.
A collection of children's/teen books are in there right now.

* Please don't overfill the box, it's only little; you're welcome to leave extra kids/YA books you want to donate on the front porch, and I'll add them when there's space 🙂 *

Hi Googong Readers! 📖

We're just about to launch our 3rd Googong Street library (here it is in progress!), and we are looking for some quality reads to add to the library..
I'd love to make this one a mainly kids/young-adult library for now (it's only little!), so if you have some quality pre-loved reads for kids and teens that you'd like to donate, please message for the address to drop off! 🥰📕 (We are up near Scentral Bark, just up the road from the pump track)

I'll post the details here when it's been installed and ready for borrowing/lending/taking/leaving! 🥰

(PS: If you have another street library in Googong that hasn't been added here yet, let us know and we can spread the word!)

The Carl Street library has now moved to Courtney Street!
It will soon have a little makeover, and I'm sure it will look fabulous!! 😀

In the meantime, take a book, leave a book, swap a book, and thanks for sharing the love of reading with your neighbours by using the Googong little street libraries! 🥰

Our sister library in Carl Street has put their books out, so we’re doing the same! Come past and grab something to read for the weekend. 🥰

We’re ecstatic to announce that our little red street library has been updated! Come past and take, leave or swap a book 📚 outside 60 Beltana. Always open, always free, no library cards, and no late fees.

The number of Googonian street libraries just DOUBLED!
Yep, we now have two!

If you’re strolling down Carl Street, keep an eye out for this gorgeous little library that’s just moved in from Wagga.

And don’t forget to drop past the original little red box on Beltana between the school and the pool. We’ve repainted the sign - can’t miss it!
