🚨AusAlert is a new national warning system that uses the latest
technology to send emergency messages to compatible mobile
devices.

It will be ready to use in October 2026, but before it launches, we
need to test the system in communities across Australia.

🕛At 12:00 pm on Friday 19 June 2026, your mobile devices, such as
mobile phones, tablets and smart watches, may receive a test alert.
The AusAlert test in your area is a Priority Alert. It will vibrate
and include a loud siren-like sound that lasts about 10 seconds.

🔊Click here to hear the alarm sound https://www.ausalert.gov.au/alerts-explained/community-testing

‼️If receiving the test could disrupt you or cause you or someone you
know to feel unsafe, visit the AusAlert website at ausalert.gov.au to
find out how to turn a Priority Alert off on your device.

💚As this is just a test, you don’t need to do anything, but in an actual
disaster you should follow the alert instructions to keep yourself and
others safe.

🚑💛 Goomalling Game Day – Powered by St John WA Goomalling and Bolgart Volunteers 💛🚑

Game day in Goomalling isn’t just about what happens on the field — it’s about the dedication of our incredible St John WA volunteers who keep our community safe while still being part of the action.

You’ll see them everywhere — pulling on their boots to play for their team, then switching straight into their St John WA role to support the day. First aid kits ready, eyes on the crowd, and always prepared to step in when it matters most.

And it doesn’t stop there… after a game or a shift, you might find them lending a hand in the canteen, serving up hot food, helping on the sidelines, or pitching in wherever needed.

👏 Playing hard
👏 Caring for others
👏 Supporting the community

That’s the spirit of St John WA volunteers — always ready to give their time, their skills, and their heart.

Thank you to our local legends who make sure everyone can enjoy game day safely 💚

🚑💨 Country Roads, Take Me Home… (Eventually 😅)

Out here around Goomalling and Bolgart, St John WA Ambulance volunteers don’t just answer calls—they embark on adventures!

One minute it’s a quick drive down the road… next minute it’s a scenic tour through paddocks, over cattle grids, and down dusty tracks that haven’t seen a grader since 1998 🤠🌾

Sat nav says “you have arrived,” but the patient is actually another kilometre through a gate, past two sheep, and somewhere near that suspicious-looking tractor 🚜🐑

And let’s not forget the fine layer of dust that comes standard with every country callout—honestly, the ambulance returns looking like it’s just completed the Dakar Rally!

But through every bump, bog, and “are we meant to be driving here?” moment, our volunteers get where they’re needed—because that’s just what country legends do 💪💚

Big cheers to the crews who prove that no road is too rough and no paddock too far 🚑✨
