We are currently running our AWOL Youth Hub which is in Gordon behind the library. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2.30pm - 5.30pm. All programs, workshops and events are for young people aged 12 -24 years.

For parents and carers of children and young people (5–16 years) in the Northern Sydney region to gain practical ways to support healthy development in a digital world.

Nominations are now being accepted for the Ku-Ring-Gai Local Citizen of the Year awards 2026 🎉

There are 3 categories up for grabs this year, including Citizen of the Year, Environmental Citizen of the Year, and Young Citizen of the Year, as well as the Mayor’s Award for an Outstanding Contribution by an Individual or Community Organisation!

Who’s joining us for Healing Out Loud? 🙌🙌

The Youth Advisory Committee are proud to bring Healing Out Loud, a mental health month festival right here in the heart of Ku-Ring-Gai!

Featuring local bands, inspirational speakers, local mental health organisations, free food and plenty of fun activities, there is something for everyone at this festival! 🥳

Starting at 4pm and running until 8pm at St Ives Village Green, come and enjoy the chill vibes, set hey to your favourite YAC or youth staff member, and learn what support options are available for you, your family and friends 🫶

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow 🎉🎉
