Meet our beautiful girl!
A female Kelpie 2 years old. Gypsy came into the Animal Shelter Pregnant and alone, since then she has had three gorgeous pups in our care.
It wouldn't have been possible without our foster carer though, so we wanted to add some notes from her :)
"Gypsy has just raised three beautiful, healthy puppies in our care and was a wonderful mum. Now her puppies are grown, it’s time for this sweet girl to find a forever home of her own.
She is a beautiful gentle soul, although she's not the most confident girl in the world. Give her a little time, patience and reassurance, and you'll soon discover her favourite place is wherever her human is. In fact, she's something of a Stage 5 Clinger.
She's fully toilet trained, not destructive and shows no signs of separation anxiety. When her human slave leaves, she waits nicely for them to return. She loves being outside and would enjoy a good-sized, secure yard, but she also knows the importance of a comfy bed inside. In addition to her kibble and soft food, Gypsy enjoys milk sticks and shark cartilage for a treat
It has been very rewarding watching Gypsy grow in confidence whilst in care, and display her fun side, frolicking with her pups and learning that toys are for playing with. She doesn't need a complicated life. What she really needs is someone who understands that confidence grows with patience, kindness and consistency. Someone who will let her settle in at her own pace, give her gentle guidance, and appreciate what a special girl she is."

Recently Gypsy had a fancy photoshoot with our friends from the Goulburn Art Gallery. They attended Belmore Park and saw Luke Chiswell’s Hold your head up 2011.
