Participants were treated to a wonderful author talk with Brooke Strahan, co-author of 'A Land Rover Named Lucy'. Brooke shared details of Andrew Edwards' captivating story of survival as he drove a rusting Land Rover from England to West Africa. Although some of Andrew's experiences and encounters seemed unbelieveable, he was able to ascertain that the events did happen, whilst on a video call during the event, all the way from Denmark! If you weren't able to attend the event, but are intrigued by the story, reserve a copy from the library today!

The arrangements made on the day were exquisite! We look forward to hosting another workshop early in the new year. Watch this space!

This is a recently digitised negative of the Farmers and Graziers Wool Brokers building, which was located where Woolworths now stands.
