Year 3 Camp 🏕️

Yesterday was full of challenges, courage and teamwork! 💪🏼 Some students faced their fears on the giant swing and flying fox, while others tackled the rock climbing wall and worked together to conquer the low ropes. 🧗🏼‍♀️

There are a few tired faces this morning, but everyone is eager to take on another day of camp and more exciting activities! ☀️😊

Our Year 3s have arrived at Camp Kookaburra! 🚌🌿 There were lots of excited faces and plenty of singing this morning as we set off! We’ve enjoyed lunch and are now heading into our first activity of the day. Let the camp adventures begin! 😊

Day 3 of Year 5 camp

Today we tried our hand at old-fashioned handwriting using inkwells 🖊️, which was such a fun way to do things a little differently!

We also had a pretty special moment during our gold demonstration, with Lucas getting the chance to hold a gold bar worth an incredible $580,000! 💰 Definitely not something you get to do every day!

Another great day of learning, trying new things and making memories.
See you all soon! 💛

Year 5 camp Day 2 – Stepping Back in Time to the 1850s! 📚✨

Today we travelled back in time to the 1850s goldfields and discovered what life was like for students in the olden days! 🏫✏️

We experienced a glimpse of what school was like back then, from the lessons and classroom expectations to the very different way children learned.

It was a wonderful opportunity to compare school life then and now, and to imagine what it would have been like to be a student in the 1850s. A day full of history, discovery and hands-on learning! ⏳📖

✨ Day 1 of Year 5 Camp! ✨

What an amazing first day we’ve had! 🕯️

We’ve been busy candle dipping, exploring the historic streets of Sovereign Hill and stepping back in time to experience life on the goldfields. To top it all off, we finished the day with the spectacular light show tonight! 🌟

So many wonderful experiences, lots of fun and plenty of memories made already. We can’t wait to see what the rest of camp has in store! 💛
