Brekkie Club runs every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 8:30am–8:50am giving our students a great start to the day! 💛

A big thank you to our wonderful SLSOs, parent volunteers and Miss O’Brien for helping make Brekkie Club possible each week. We truly appreciate your time and support!

🌟 **Celebrating our 2026 Student Survey Results** 🌟

We are very proud to share some of the positive results from our 2026 NSW Public Schools Student Survey for students in Years 3–6.

The survey gives students an important opportunity to share their experiences of learning, wellbeing and school life.

This year’s results highlight some wonderful strengths across Granville Public School, including strong classroom management, increased feelings of belonging, stronger connections with supportive adults at school, and positive aspirations for the future.

These results are a reflection of the work happening every day across our classrooms and school community to create safe, supportive and engaging learning environments for our students.

A huge thank you to our students for sharing their voice, our staff for their ongoing dedication, and our families for their continued partnership and support. ❤️💛

🌟 PBL Focus – Legendary Lineups & Wonderful Walking (During Transitions) 🌟

This week at Granville Public School, our PBL focus is Being Safe during transitions through our Legendary Lineups and Wonderful Walking routines.

Students will revisit what these routines should look and sound like whenever they are moving between places or activities around the school, as well as when entering and exiting the school.

👥 Legendary Lineups mean:
• standing or sitting in two straight lines
• facing the front and looking towards the teacher
• remaining silent and ready to listen

👣 Wonderful Walking means:
• eyes forward
• walking silently and calmly
• staying together in the line
• keeping our bodies safe as we move around the school

Students will practise applying these routines across different parts of the school day, including morning transitions, moving between learning spaces, lunch and recess transitions, returning to class, and our end-of-day going-home routine.

Our message is simple: every transition is an opportunity to Be Safe & Calm ❤️💛

Families can support by asking:
👉 What does a Legendary Line look and sound like?
👉 What does Wonderful Walking look like?
👉 Why is it important to stay with your class and wait to be dismissed at the end of the day?

🌟 PBL Focus – Recognition Boards 🌟

This week at Granville Public School, our PBL focus is all about recognising and celebrating positive behaviour! 👏🌟

Students will be introduced to our new Recognition Boards, which are being implemented across classrooms this week.

Recognition Boards are another way for teachers to deliberately notice, acknowledge and celebrate positive behaviour. Each class will work towards a specific behaviour focus, with teachers looking for students demonstrating that behaviour and adding their names to the Recognition Board.

The message for our students is simple: we are one team, working together towards positive behaviour. It’s not about competition or being the “best behaved”, it’s about recognising the positive choices, effort and behaviours we want to see more of.

We’re excited to add Recognition Boards to the many ways we celebrate our students at Granville! ❤️💛

📣 We are incredibly proud to celebrate our 2026 NAPLAN results! 🌟

📚 Our Year 3 and Year 5 students achieved exceptional results in Writing and Spelling, performing above both similar schools and the state!

✏️ Year 3 and Year 5 also achieved results above similar schools in Grammar and Punctuation!

These results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our incredible teachers and staff, and the ongoing support of our families.

We are so proud of the progress being made at Granville Public School and look forward to continuing to build on these fantastic results. ❤️💛
