The Be My Eyes app is helping to make the world more accessible to people who are blind or have low vision. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

The app connects users with a volunteer in their own language who can help identify things such as expiry dates and distinguishing colours to help users navigate their homes and communities.

Calling all emerging producers! Applications are now open to begin your journey in inclusive filmmaking. ๐ŸŽฌโœจ

Bus Stop Films is seeking a team of emerging producers to come on board and help bring 21 short films to life through their Accessible Filmmaking Program. The initiative creates opportunities for the next generation of producers across Australia to build skills in inclusive filmmaking, including:

๐ŸŽฅ supporting people with disability on productions

๐ŸŽฅ producing content through a lens of inclusion, diversity and accessibility

๐ŸŽฅ learning how to produce films inclusively.

The program is proudly supported by Bus Stop Films in partnership with Screen NSW, Screen Queensland, VicScreen, Screen Tasmania, Screen Canberra, Screen Territory, Screenwest and the South Australia Film Corp.

Applications close Friday 12 June.
