La Trobe LaunchPad is a pre accelerator program designed to help emerging founders turn technology led ideas into scalable ventures. The program provides a structured pathway for participants to validate problems, test MVPs, engage early customers, and build the commercial capability needed to launch.

La Trobe students, alumni, researchers - and as well as aspiring founders across Australia - are eligible to apply.

Participants receive:
• 12 weeks of tailored startup learning and mentoring
• Pitch coaching and a mid program Pitch Mastery Clinic
• Masterclasses on business models, teams, and venture foundations
• Opportunities to pitch at the LaunchPad Lift Off showcase, for a share of $5,000 prize money.

Successful participants of LaunchPad will earn 15 microcredential credit points towards La Trobe University’s Global MBA program. With only 50 places per intake.

We are looking for 1–2 home-based businesses to be part of our upcoming professional photography project.

We are working with a professional photographer to capture the diversity and vibrancy of local businesses across Banyule this July, and we want to make sure home-based businesses are part of the story.

Here's what's involved:
✅ A professional photographer visits you at your home or studio
✅ The session takes approximately 30–45 minutes
✅ No cost to you, completely free!
✅ You will receive a selection of professional images to keep and use for your own socials and marketing

Your images will be featured in the Banyule Business Guide, Banyule Council social media and other Council communications.

A wonderful example of local businesses supporting local impact. 🧡
As a proud supporter of Banyule’s Pitch for Good event, Darling Daughters contributed $1,000 to the pitch that most inspired them on the night.
