Heads up Yarra Swim School families 👋

Road closures around Elder Street and Greensborough Highway may affect travel times to and from swimming lessons.

Please allow some extra travel time and check local detours before heading to the pool.

Building the Elder Street landscaped bridge 🚧

From 9pm, Friday 8 May until 5am, Monday 1 June Elder Street will be closed in both directions between Greensborough Highway and Frensham Road.

A detour will be in place via Frensham Road, Yallambie Road and Greensborough Road, McDowell Street, Grimshaw Street and Greensborough Highway

Our Race Night on Wednesday was a huge hit, with over 60 swimmers in the pool! 🎉💦

Check out the photos and videos capturing the energy, excitement, and amazing community spirit from the night. A massive thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event!

We were also lucky to have Max with us, not only one of our fantastic club coaches, but also a former state swimmer, as well as Luke and Emma, two of our previous squad swimmers. It’s always special to see our swimmers giving back and being part of the action!

We’ll be doing another one very soon, so stay tuned! 📸✨

Race Night is all about confidence, encouragement, and giving swimmers a positive first taste of race style swimming.
So many smiles, lots of cheering, and yes… free icy poles at the end 🍦

A fun, supportive introduction to race-style swimming for swimmers heading into school carnivals.

With YPW coaches on deck and club swimmers in the water, swimmers will build confidence, practice race skills, and experience what a real race night feels like, all in a positive, encouraging environment.

Perfect for learn-to-swim and future waves swimmers ready to take the next step.

Yarra Swim School has fantastic news for Victorian families! Round 9️⃣ of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program is opening soon, and this is your chance to receive up to $200 off your child's swimming lessons with us. It’s an amazing way to make sure your kids gain those vital water safety skills and are confident swimmers before the summer rush, all while keeping costs down.

If your child is 0 - 18 years old and lives in Victoria, they may be eligible if they are named on a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.

Applications for the voucher open on 15 October at 10am and will close on 13 November. We strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as funds can run out quickly!
