The postie is still coming, but Gulgong residents may no longer hear him on the way.

The town’s familiar mail run has gone electric, bringing lower running costs, fewer fuel stops and some happier dogs along the way.

We want your help!
The owners of community post offices around Australia (including us) have successfully lobbied the Australian Senate to open an inquiry into Australia Post and their plans to remove services from post offices and turn us into just a parcel carrier. Please take some time to read how you can be heard and support a future with full-service post offices and bring more services (Government Agencies, Insurers, Utilities, etc) back to Gulgong.

No Parking In Front of Post Office

The council is widening the footpath in front of the Post Office today and tomorrow so parking is not available right in front for a few days. We apologise for the inconvenience and we look forward to our new footpath!!

Bring your empty cyclinder in to get a discount on a new one. If you like a certain flavour talk to us to see if we can get that flavour in.

This card was left on one of our writing desks this morning. Inside is a wonderful letter. We know the person who left it must be missing it so please share and ask them to come into the Gulgong Post Office. It is waiting for them in our lost and found.
