💧 Water Restrictions Update – Armidale Region 💧
As of 16 March 2026, the Armidale Region is currently on Level 1 water restrictions.
Here’s what you need to know 👇
🚿 Watering Times
You can water for up to 2 hours per day, but only during:
6am–8am OR 6pm–8pm (daylight saving)
5am–7am OR 5pm–7pm (outside daylight saving)
❗ You can only choose ONE of these time periods per day, not both.
☀️ No watering during the heat of the day
Not between 9am–5pm (daylight saving)
Not between 10am–3pm (outside daylight saving)
🌱 Other Important Info
Greywater and rainwater can be used anytime 💦
Rainwater tanks must not be topped up with town water
A water management plan may allow some exceptions for fixed sprinklers
🚨 Penalties Apply
Water restrictions are enforced, with fines of:
Up to $220 for individuals
Up to $2,200 for corporations
