Our students harvested fresh produce on Tuesday from our Pick of the Crop Garden, so exciting.

S4 conducted a schoolwide competition for Book Week. Students guessed the number of pom-poms on the alpaca. The lucky winners were Jack (P1), Arley (S6), Mason (P1) and Miles (P3).

Greetings from S1.

We have had a fun and exciting time at school and with our learning. Last week S1 had some students participate in the Regional Athletics Carnival at Bundaberg, and we had a fun day celebrating Children’s Book Week on Friday

S1 have also done some good learning as well. We have learned about Informative Texts in English, Time in Math and how to conduct a fair test in Science.

🎭📚 Our Book Week Parade was AWESOME! 📚🎭

Students and staff came dressed in some truly amazing costumes ton Friday, bringing favourite book characters to life. There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of creativity on display throughout the parade.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Book Week so special. We loved seeing everyone's fantastic costumes!

We would like to thank all of the support agencies for their contribution to Last Fridays Community Connection Expo.
It was a fantastic day and a great opportunity to network.

A big shout out to Mathew and Jodi from Lotus for donating their wonderful books to our Library, they will make a great addition for our students to enjoy.

Seniors have entered a Bok Choi Competition through Pick of the Crop. Our students have enjoyed planting, growing, harvesting and creating a recipe before sitting down and enjoying a fresh meal. Our garden to plate.

📚 Scholastic Book Fair at Gympie Special School! 📚

The Scholastic Book Fair is now on display in our school library and will be available until Tuesday 1 September.

Parents and carers are warmly welcome to visit the library, browse the fantastic range of books, and purchase items from the fair. It's a wonderful opportunity to encourage a love of reading and discover some great new books for your child.
