𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗻 | Our Year 7–9 Academy of Creative Arts JAAM and InterACT Ensembles have been working hard the last 3 terms to bring their theatrical adaptation of Peter Pan to life!

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

On Thursday 22 October, James Nash State High School celebrated the outstanding sporting achievements of our students at the 2026 Sports Awards Night.

The evening recognised students who represented our school across a wide range of sports, from district competitions through to regional, state, national and international levels. We also celebrated individual achievements, school records and the success of our sporting teams throughout the year.

A highlight of the evening was the announcement of our major award recipients.

Congratulations to Loghan Roberts, our Junior Sportsperson of the Year, and Cooper Laycock, our Senior Sportsperson of the Year, for their exceptional sporting achievements.

Congratulations also to Glanmire, who were crowned the 2026 House Cup champions, recognising their outstanding participation, performances and house spirit throughout the year.

We extend a special thank you to Dillyn Blackburn for joining us as our special guest and helping celebrate the achievements of our students.

Finally, thank you to our, families and volunteers for their ongoing support of school sport.

Congratulations to all our 2026 award recipients. We look forward to another fantastic year of sport in 2027!

🎨🎻 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗶-𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 🎨🎻

Last night’s Hi-Arts Exhibition at the Gallery in Gympie was a beautiful celebration of music and visual art, with LARK filling the gallery with the sounds of their strings and incredible artworks from James Nash SHS and schools across the region.

Congratulations to all students involved for sharing their creativity, talent, and hard work. Pictured are just some of our talented students alongside their artworks, as well as moments from LARK’s performance. A special mention to Lyric for receiving Highly Commended and Kaneesha for her assistance with exhibition setup.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

Last week we celebrated our annual Student Art Show winners with a celebration on Thursday afternoon.
Our illustrious guest artist judge, Cindy Vogels, spoke to students and family about their works. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with art, friends and great conversations.
A big thank you to Cindy for taking time out of her busy schedule to meet with students and to family for their unwavering support of their students.
