Hamilton Fire Brigade

Hamilton Fire Brigade The Hamilton Fire Brigade is a 100% volunteer Fire Brigade that is part of the Country Fire Authority (CFA).

It services the township of Hamilton and its surrounding communities. The station in Cox St houses our 4 firefighting appliances: Hamilton Pumper, Hamilton Pumper/Tanker, Hamilton Hazmat and Hamilton Forward Command Vehicle. Our Brigade performs many different roles which include fire prevention / suppression, community awareness, Fire Safe Kids, fundraising, ongoing training and upskilling of members and attendance at public events.

Felix is missing.
The 14-year-old was last seen in Hamilton on Wednesday 22 April.
It is unknown what Felix was last seen wearing but Felix is Caucasian in appearance, approximately 150-160cms tall, medium build with blonde/ brown shoulder length hair.
Police and family have concerns for Felix’s welfare due to their age and a medical condition.
Anyone with information on Felix’s whereabouts is urged to contact Hamilton Police Station on (03) 5551 9100.

Thank you to VEMTC Penshurst - CFA Training Campus and our district structural instructors Jay and Lee for hosting and supporting our brigade’s hot fire drills today.
It was a huge day out with lots learnt by all who attended. We aim to run a few of these days each year so we can continue to improve our skills and better serve our community.

Today we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all those who have served and continue to serve our country. On ANZAC Day, we honour the heroes who gave so much for the freedoms we live with every day.

Last night we had a change to our normal training night and trained with our colleagues at the SES Hamilton Unit.

We learnt a lot about road crash rescue and learnt how the SES use their equipment during a rescue operation and how to assist them when needed.

Thank you Hamilton SES for hosting the night and showing us how you serve our community and how we can help when we work together.

The Fire Danger Period will be lifted as of 1:00am Monday 20 April 2026.

Please note it is still illegal to burn non-permitted items such as general rubbish and plastic items. Please look up on the CFA website what is allowed to be burnt especially within our towns boundaries.
