Was great to see a bit of the lads performance on Hamley Bridge Oval 🦉 🏈

Then Jayce & i were on the sidelines cheering mumma on 💪

Grateful to be invited to the Portlife Church North Campus service this morning, hosted inside the Virginia Institute Hall.

The band was outstanding & thank you to both Tim & Josh for leading a beautiful service.

Playford, Let's stop the crawl!

The duplication of Dalkeith Road isn’t just a "strategic project" for our community.

it’s about giving you back those 20 minutes in the morning. It’s about making sure you aren't already stressed before you even start your workday.

By finally duplicating Dalkeith between Angle Vale and Main North Road, we don't just move cars & Trucks, we give our community room to breathe.

With your support, I will fight for the Dual-Laning of Dalkeith Road, between Angle Vale Road Through to Main North Road.

By focusing on Dalkeith Road now, we can help alleviate some of the stress that Curtis Road has endured, every. Single. Day...

A train overpass is a band aid on an open wound, with this level of attention and funding, why not utilise this focus & actually get ahead of a problem before we add to it with new housing estates.

I chose to run for Playford Council because I’ve spent my life growing up in this city. I was born at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, my son was born there too, and the love of my life, the beautiful mother of my child, we met growing up in Angle Vale.

I remember playing football on the back oval of Angle Vale Primary School because there was no community sports centre.

I remember playing underneath the old Angle Vale Heritage Bridge as a kid, because St Ives Park on Broster Road was flooded after heavy rain.

I remember racing through the Angle Vale Village shops car park on my old pushie 🚲, watching the streetlights flick on and trying to beat them home because dinner was ready.

The first day I got my P plates, I picked up my friend in Two Wells, drove to the X Convenience in Virginia, then out to St Kilda, just to experience the freedom every teenager looks forward to when they can finally drive without mum or dad bracing in the passenger seat 🙄

Playford is more than just a city to me. This community is my home, my life, and where I started my family.

I want to play an active part in its renewal, its progress, and its future.

I want to make sure the community I grew up in is maintained. Not only for the next generation, but for the residents who live here now.

Playford needs a Council that stays focused on the essential responsibilities of local government:
Roads.
Rates.
Rubbish.

Our city deserves to remain affordable for all Australians who call Playford home.

I was glad to see the efforts of Cr Clint Marsh - Candidate for Mayor, City of Playford and Councillor Peter Rentoulis- City of Playford, in Securing the inclusion of the Odgers and O’Loughlin Road intersection into the 2026/27 Council draft budget.

It was encouraging to see that amendment receive unanimous support from Council, as should be expected when residents are clearly calling for improved infrastructure across so many roads in the City of Playford.

Council is under constant pressure to rapidly fund, repair, and build new roads, roundabouts, parks, and stormwater systems.

We must meet the needs of long-term residents who have called Playford home for decades, while also supporting new developments such as Miravale, Brookmont, Riverbanks, Virginia Grove, and Riverlea.

Across South Australia — whether you live in Kadina, Port Augusta, Murray Bridge or Bordertown — residents know all too well the frustration of “Curtis Road.” Just mentioning the name can send a shiver down your spine.

This logistical nightmare has finally received much-needed attention from state and federal representatives. While this new interest is welcome, everyone I’ve spoken to says the same common-sense thing:
“I don’t know why they’re building a train bridge when it should be dual-laned.”

There are multiple proposals to eventually duplicate Curtis Road, but the process perfectly illustrates the layers of bureaucracy that continue to delay and stall genuine results for our community.

If elected, I will be a constant thorn in the side of our state and federal MPs. I will persistently seek follow-up reports and meetings with council administration. These elected members have repeatedly announced support, posed for photo opportunities, and campaigned on fixing Curtis Road. I will be asking the question that matters most to us — the people who actually use it: When?

I am officially announcing that I will be standing as a candidate for Ward 1 for the City of Playford in the November 2026 Council Elections.

Over the coming months, I will be sharing my vision for the future of Playford and working hard to earn your support.

One of my priorities is listening to the people who call Playford home. I will be making every effort to visit each of you throughout Playford, giving everyone the opportunity to raise concerns, share ideas, and discuss the issues that matter to us all.

I will also be hosting community events where residents can meet me, ask questions, and hear directly about my plans for our community. These events will also provide opportunities to meet other candidates whom I am proud to support and hope to work alongside if elected by you.

Playford is entering an exciting period of growth and opportunity. New housing, new businesses, and new investment can bring many benefits to our city. However, growth must be managed responsibly. As our community continues to expand, we must ensure that existing residents are not left behind and that the character, safety, and livability of our neighbourhoods are protected.

The future of Playford should be built on three simple principles:
Protecting our Community
Responsible Growth
Better Roads and Infrastructure

By planning properly today, we can ensure Playford remains a great place to live, to work and to raise our families.

I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming months and hearing your ideas for the future of our city.
