Now it's been revealed they're offering huge salaries for bureaucrats.

We have a shortage of healthcare workers, police, teachers, trades and the list goes on and on, yet Labor is focused on bureaucrats for the Suburban Rail Loop.

The Victorian economy is hurting under the Allan Labor Government.

New data from the ABS shows Victoria has a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 4.4 per cent.

The national average is just 4 per cent.

Victorian businesses are struggling under the Allan Labor Government's increased taxes and red tape.

It's costing jobs and giving other states a competitive advantage.

Victorian businesses and families deserve better.

As I told the media today, it is really disappointing that the Allan Labor Government has let the parade fall away.

I support celebrating Australia Day as someone who firmly believes on this day we celebrate our democratic institutions, the foundations of our advanced economy and the traditions and customs which help characterise the way Australia is today.

No matter what your background, no matter where you have come from, no matter what your religion if any you observe, Australia Day can be both a day of reflection and a day of celebration. JP
