What a day!

๐Ÿ๏ธ American Motorcycle Club Central Victoria
It was with great pleasure that we were able to meet with the fantastic people and motorcycleโ€™s of the American Motorcycle Club Central Victoria. Every year they participate in a charity ride, and this year we have been the lucky recipients of their generosity. A huge thanks to everyone who rode down to Harcourt to present us with a donation, which will be used to purchase additional equipment for our brigade.

๐ŸŽธโšก๏ธ And to top the day off, 9 of our lovely members got the opportunity to meet Benji and Joel Madden at the Good Charlotte concert last night in Bendigo, followed by the amazing concert.

In a previous post, we recognised Josie and Gus, two local siblings who baked our Brigade delicious cupcakes.
Today, two of our fire fighters, Megan Wilson and Raewyn Rice, got the pleasure of gifting these two legends CFA teddies for their heartfelt baked goods and their lovely thoughts to our Brigade.

This just goes to show that our Harcourt community can never be torn apart and that we are all here for each other during this devastating time.
Make sure to check up on each other and if you need assistance, feel free to reach out to us via messages or come down to the station from 9am each Sunday morning.

The Harcourt Fire Brigade would like to give a massive thank you to these two groups, who on the 16th of February 2026, made the trip up to Harcourt to give their thanks and appreciation to our Brigade.

๐ŸŽ’Backpack for a fire fighter Inc .
This amazing organisation generously donated us 30+ backpacks full of items that firefighters use out on the fire ground. These bags included water, snacks, socks, notebooks, hygiene products, masks and heartfelt notes to each firefighter who uses the bags. We are truly grateful for this donation and these bags will be put to good use.

๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ Gisborne Giants Football Netball Club
What an amazing club full of amazing people, donating $800 to our brigade. A huge thank you to Kat and Michael for organising such an amazing offer. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated and we are so grateful to be supported by such a passionate and community-minded club.

It's the support by people like these that help us continue in serving and protecting our local community ๐Ÿฅฐ

The recent fire activity in Harcourt and surrounding areas has generated large amounts of smoke which may be visible to nearby residents.
Fire damaged trees remain a serious hazard in the burnt area and crews are still undertaking assessments. Trees or limbs may fall without warning.
There still may be smoke visible, especially from Mount Alexander Regional Park.
There will be hot spots within the burnt area for a period of time. If you see trees or stumps burning within the burnt area, there is no need to call 000. If you see fire outside of the burnt area or on the roadside or if you are concerned, call 000.
There are crews monitoring the burnt area and will call for assistance as needed.
