It's Australian Census time!

The 2026 Census takes place on Tuesday 11 August and provides a snapshot of Australia.

Every response helps build a clearer picture of our community. Census data helps inform planning for the services and facilities people use every day. For example, Information about the number of children in an area helps plan schools, childcare centres and early learning services.

Lina Hart Memorial Park – Proposed Storage Facility

Roleybushcare volunteers work to protect and maintain Roleystone’s local bushland, controlling weeds, managing dieback, and supporting native plants and wildlife. To continue their vital work, a new storage facility has been proposed at Lina Hart Memorial Park to securely store equipment and provide a base for volunteers.

Suitable for primary-school aged children, this program is a great way to build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment 💜

Unrestricted Burning has now begun. This means you can burn garden refuse without a permit until 30 September.

🚫 There is absolutely NO burning
- on Sundays or Public Holidays
- on properties under 1,200m²
- when the Fire Danger Rating is high or above
- if it produces toxic or nuisance smoke
