🏃‍♀Athletics Carnival Friday 19 June 🏃🏻‍♂️

👉Thursday - Self Nominated Events 👈
🎽Nomination Day, for students who nominated with the Teacher. Primary students have been completing their self nominated events during their PE lessons.
🚐Secondary students will travel via bus to and from Primary Campus Oval
🍱Students are to bring their lunch as usual
🎗Final places for nomination events will be handed out during presentations on Friday.
😀Parents and carers are welcome to attend and cheer on the students!

👉Friday – Full Carnival Day 👈
🤓All students will be involved in the day’s events.
🟢🔴Students are encouraged to wear their house colours – Ledlie or Newell
🌂Parents and carers are welcome to spectate – please bring your own chair and an umbrella for shade.
🌭Our P&C will have limited food items available for purchase. If you’d like your child to enjoy some extra goodies, please send them with a small amount of change.
🍱Students should still bring their usual lunch.
🎗Ribbons for 1st, 2nd 3rd place only
⏰Please note: All times on the program are approximate and may change.

🎶🎺 The Secondary Instrumental Music Band has been busy rehearsing every Monday lunchtime, working hard to learn a range of exciting new pieces this term.

Students have shown great commitment and enthusiasm as they develop their ensemble skills. We are proud of their dedication and the progress they have made so far.

📞 To book your child’s appointment, please call the number listed on the flyer.

We encourage all families to book early to secure a suitable appointment time and make use of this valuable service while it is available at our school.

👉Please note that the van may only be at our school for a short time, so we recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

Our Year 8 students are becoming increasingly confident using the sewing machines. Many have now completed their drawstring bags and have moved on to creating their own repurposed projects. 🪡

It has been wonderful to see their creativity, problem-solving skills, and growing independence as they bring their ideas to life.

We look forward to sharing their finished creations! 😀

👨‍🔧Wishes Can Come True! 👩‍🔬

On Friday 5 June, our Primary Student Council held a wonderful Free Dress Day with the theme "Wishes Can Come True." Students embraced the theme with creativity and enthusiasm, dressing up as everything from vets and hairdressers to midwives and many other future careers.

Students also enjoyed some delicious jelly cups, and the councilors were amazed by the popularity of the friendship bands, which completely sold out early in the week!

Thanks to the fantastic efforts of our Primary Student Council and the generosity of our school community, we raised over $200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved for helping make the day such a success and supporting a very worthy cause. 💙
