Thank you to the DSS Community Grants hub for our approved application for the next round of community grants for our Emergency Relief Program.

This program supports those in our community who are struggling with sleeping rough, DV, financial hardship & many more who are just finding it hard to cover the high cost of living.

Through our Emergency Relief program we offer:
- Food Vouchers
- Script Vouchers
- Fuel cards to attend medical appointments
- Bill payments (electricity, phone, monthly rego)
- Basic toiletries
- Tents, sleeping bags, sheets & towels

A HUGE thank you to the Hervey Bay RSL for sponsoring our annual Volunteers Appreciation event!!

Without our amazing volunteers giving their time we would not be able to do what we do within the community. Across our 5 programs we have over 70 dedicated volunteers who make up the heart of We Care 2.

Our theme was ‘Thanks for being an essential part of our team’! 🧩
In each gift bag they received some puzzle pieces & we all chipped in to create the over all picture ❤️

Thanks to all our volunteers - you are A-mazing!

Its almost that time of the year again - Christmas! 🎁

Each year We Care 2 put together food hampers for people within our community who are struggling with homelessness, DV, cost of living pressures & other crisis situations.

If you would like to be a blessing to your community during this time - feel free to drop in food donations to our office at 229 Main Street. You can even organise a collection for your workplace, school, family or friends group!
