The Link Youth Health Service Are you aged 12 to 25? The Link provides community, mental health, and sexual health services that are FREE. The Link is a Non-For-Profit Organisation.

Drop into The Link’s open access space for a chat about the many programs we provide young people! We are a Youth Health Service. All our services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL
We provide Health Services, support and information and more. The Link is also the Lead Agency for headspace Hobart.

No Centrelink this week but drop in and speak with a friendly youth health worker.

This week we are attending Into the Loop for Family Violence Prevention Month. The Link supports young people and their families experiencing family domestic violence through counselling, advocacy, and referrals to other services.

This week at Open Access we are raising immunisation awareness!

Did you know that "Vaccine" originates from the Latin word v***a, meaning "cow". It was coined by English physician Edward Jenner in 1796 after he discovered that inoculating/vaccinating humans with cowpox (a mild disease found in cows) provided immunity against the deadly smallpox virus.

During Youth Week the Open Access team have been encouraging young people to share their voice, vision, and ideas for the future.

A noticeable theme is wanting to connect with kind people :)

The open access space is a great spot to meet new friends who are welcoming and kind.

We also hope to see more people accessing the space :)

An amazing day at the Multicultural Youth Festival at Tolosa Park.

The Link Worker team had such a great time connecting with young people from our diverse CALD communities, sharing information about The Link services and Headspace, and getting creative with fun activities like badge making😉

It was inspiring to see so many young people come together, celebrate culture, and learn about supports available to them. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and made the day so special😊

A special thank you to all the community organisations who came together to help create a meaningful and successful event✨️
