🏃‍♀️🏃 Our incredible students gave their absolute best at the Zone Athletics Carnival, showing heart and hustle in every race, jump and throw! From sprinting, high jump, shot put, to long jump, they truly shone on the track and field. We’re so proud of all their efforts!

A special shoutout to Jayden, Jiali, Layla, and Aura – we wish you all the best as you represent our Zone at the Sydney East Regional Athletics Carnival later this term. Go team! 💪

What an incredible celebration of books, reading and imagination at our Book Week Parade! 📚✨

This year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories,” came to life as students and staff paraded in an amazing array of creative costumes. From beloved classics to new favourites, it was wonderful to see our school community share their love of reading in such a vibrant way.

A massive thank you to our staff, students, and families who helped make the day such a magical celebration! 🎉📖

What a wonderful Book Week celebration for the Sea Eagles! Students came dressed in an amazing range of costumes from Harry Potter to Disney favourites and more. There was certainly some golden ticket-worthy creativity on display!

After our book parade, we ventured outside with Uncle Jimmy who shared his deep knowledge about native wildlife and helped us learn more about our special connection to Country.

What a wonderful experience our students had today with Perform Education and their interactive musical performance of Something Special!

Students were taken on a fun-filled adventure inspired by three CBCA Shortlisted Books: Dawn, Dear Broccoli and A Loo of One’s Own. The performance brought these stories to life through singing, dancing and acting. There were plenty of opportunities for our students to get involved through games, questions and interactive activities.

Year 1 have kicked off Book Week by gifting a copy of their book to Ms Beattie! The Kangaroos and Echidnas became book authors as they reimagined the ‘Black Book of Colours’. They have also kindly gifted a copy to all of the K-2 classes so other students can read their creative descriptions.

This week, we’re celebrating National Science Week in STEAM!
Students have begun creating a collaborative mural inspired by our local Bicentennial Park, with K - 4 drawing the natural environment below and years 5-6 drawing the starry skies above. We’ve also started designing local creatures and using iPads to bring their stories to life through film. Next week, students will begin editing their footage and transforming their ideas into a series of short films!

What a fantastic day for our Year 6 fundraiser! 🥛🍪

Students came to school in their comfiest pyjamas and enjoyed some delicious flavoured milk and cookies. Our Year 6 Library Monitors also did a wonderful job reading stories to the younger students.

To top it all off, we were lucky enough to have a surprise visit from Uncle Jimmy, who shared some amazing Dreaming stories with us. A fun-filled day with plenty of smiles, stories and yummy treats!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our fundraiser such a success!
