🧊 THE BIG FREEZE RELAY - GET READY TO GET COLD! ❄️

Following our welcome, school tour and Primary Performance, the excitement continues with our Big Freeze Relay! 💙

At 10:30am Monday 7th September, our Big Freeze Relay teams will go head-to-head in the ultimate battle of endurance, determination… and staying DRY! ❄️

But there’s a catch… the losing team will face the ultimate punishment — being drenched in icy cold water! 🪣🥶

We’re getting COLD to help raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), because every dollar makes a difference. 💙

🎟️ Raffle tickets are just $1 each, with the chance to WIN THE RAFFLE and pour the icy cold water over the losing team!

Last Day of Cluster Camp – Sovereign Hill ⛏️

The final day at camp brought another exciting opportunity for our students to learn about history and different cultures. 📚✨

Today, our students explored the Chinese Village, where they watched a video about the lives and experiences of Chinese settlers during the Gold Rush. 🏮🇨🇳 They also visited the traditional tents and discovered what life was like for Chinese settlers at the time. ⛺️👀

Before heading home, our students had the chance to do some shopping, picking out special gifts and souvenirs to bring home to their families. 🛍️🎁❤️

Overall, our three-day Cluster Camp for our Year 5–6 students was filled with new learning, exciting experiences and wonderful memories. 🚌✨📚

We hope our students return home with not only souvenirs, but also stories and experiences that they will treasure for years to come. 💛🌟

⛏️ Day 2 – Cluster Camp: Sovereign Hill🏆

Today, our students stepped back in time at Sovereign Hill and experienced life during the gold rush era! 🤠✨ They explored the underground mining site, the Labyrinth of Gold, gaining insight into the challenges and excitement of mining for gold in the 1850s. ⛏️🪙

Students also immersed themselves in the Eureka Story by dressing up as people from the goldfields period, bringing history to life in a fun and engaging way! 👒🎩📜

One of the highlights of the day was the gold pour demonstration, where students witnessed the pouring of a 3.1 kg bar of pure 24-carat gold!✨🤩

To end the day, everyone enjoyed an entertaining performance at the Victoria Theatre. 🎭👏

It was a day filled with history, learning, and unforgettable experiences! ❤️📚✨

⛏️Year 5–6 Cluster Camp – Sovereign Hill🪙

It was an early start for our Year 5–6 students, with the group leaving at 7:00 am for an exciting day at Sovereign Hill! 🚍

After arriving, we enjoyed lunch before spending the rest of the afternoon exploring and taking part in a range of hands-on activities. Students had the opportunity to try their luck panning for gold 🪙, watch a demonstration of how lollies are made 🍭, and have a go at candle making 🕯️.

We also enjoyed a mini mine tour ⛏️, followed by an engaging educational session on simple machines ⚙️.

To finish the day, our students were amazed by the spectacular AURA sound and light show✨. It was a wonderful way to end a busy and memorable first day, with plenty of excitement, learning and new experiences for everyone! 🌟

Our Primary students will showcase their talents with a special performance for families and visitors. We can’t wait to share what they’ve been working on!

🎓 11:00am — 2027 Subject Selection Information Session
Families and students in Years 9–11 are invited to attend an information session about subject selection and pathways for 2027.

📚🎶 Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories!🎶📚

What a wonderful way to celebrate Book Week at our school! Our P–6 students, Year 12s and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters, choosing characters that they felt best captured this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories.” 📖✨

We had an incredible range of characters join us, from Bluey and Elsa to the Crayons Who Quit and so many more! 🎭🖍️ It was fantastic to see the creativity and imagination of our students and staff come to life through their costumes.

Our students and staff then had the pleasure of visiting the residents at Corrong Village to show off their wonderful outfits and spread some Book Week joy. 💕📚 It was a lovely opportunity to connect with our community and share our love of books together.

A big thank you to our students, staff and families for getting involved and helping make the day so special! 🌟
