We love welcoming visitors—whether you’re here for a meeting, immunisation, playgroup, child care or maternal child health.

However, we’ve had to put up another speed sign, and we want to remind everyone: running late is never a good reason to speed.

Here’s why slowing down is so important:

🚸 A child may have run ahead of their parent or carer, even if you don’t see them.
☀️ The bright morning and evening sun can affect visibility.
🚗 A child might be standing beside a car, ready to step out unexpectedly.

Please drive carefully and help us keep this space safe for everyone.

Our Story

The Kalkee Road Children’s and Community Hub is a brand new multi-use facility which first opened in February 2018. The purpose-designed building has many large open, light filled spaces and a beautiful natural outdoor play space.

The Kalkee Road Children’s and Community Hub is home to the Horsham Rural City Council’s Maternal and Child Health service, Immunisation sessions and also supported play group.

The Hub is also the new home to a number of the Horsham and District Kindergarten Association programs including two 4- year old kindergarten rooms, two 3-year old kindergarten groups and the After Kinder Care Program. We are also now pleased to announce the the Kalkee Road Children’s and Community Hub is also the new home of the Wimmera Toy Library.
