1 Dawn Service, 2 parades in two different towns and 1 amazing team of brigade members to pull off a special little something extra for ANZAC day.

Special thaks go to our Secretary Clinton, the owner of the 1929 Dennis Fire Engine and fire museum for the putting together the use of the fire engine and gathering all the bits n pieces to recreate historic uniforms.

And to Alan the pilot of the Kitty, for allowing us to stop by his hanger to get a close up look of his planes.

We hope you enjoyed our little suprise

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget

FIRE PERMITS SUSPENDED TODAY WEDNESDAY 11 MARCH 2026

Due to elevated fire danger conditions with high temperatures, low humidity and winds expected to exceed 50 km/ph, all fire permits are suspended across the NSW Rural Fire Service Southern Border District which include Greater Hume, Albury City, Federation and Berrigan Council Local Government Areas.

These conditions mean fires can start easily and spread rapidly, putting lives and property at risk.

If you see an unattended fire, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Greater Hume Council, AlburyCity, Federation Council, Berrigan Shire Council

Over the past few days, we have been overwhelmed by the incredible generosity shown by our community, with an influx of people donating supplies to support our local crews. We cannot express how thankful we are to each and every person, club, group and family who has contributed.

Your kindness and support mean more than words can say.

Donating is not compulsory but If you would like to donate to local NSW RFS crews, please visit the Lavington Disaster Hub, located at the Lavington Fire Station, 629 Krautz Street, Lavington NSW 2641.

From here, donations are packed and delivered directly to fire grounds or brigades where crews are working tirelessly to keep our communities safe.

Our crews are extremely appreciative and grateful to be supported by such a kind and generous community. We truly cannot thank you enough. β€οΈπŸš’
