2027 Young Woman Competition information is now available!

The 2027 ACCIONA Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition Conditions, Guidelines and Forms are now available on our website under Downloadable Information and Forms:

We encourage all Show Societies that hold—or are considering holding—a local Young Woman Competition to review the updated information.

2027 Zone Finals

🔹 Zone 2: Hawkesbury — 13 February
🔹 Zone 3: Cooma — 23 January
🔹 Zone 4: Glen Innes — 16 January
🔹 Zone 5: Cessnock — 16 January
🔹 Zone 6: Nyngan — 13 February
🔹 Zone 7: Cootamundra — 6 February

With several Zone Finals taking place very early in 2027, societies with an entrant progressing to a Zone Final should send all required forms and photographs promptly to both their Zone Host and [email protected].

🎉 Congratulations Sue Hood OAM – Life Member of AgShows NSW

We are delighted to recognise Sue Hood OAM, who has been awarded Life Membership of the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW (AgShows NSW) in recognition of her exceptional and longstanding service to the agricultural show movement.

Sue has dedicated many years to supporting agricultural shows across NSW, including more than 23 years championing the Showgirl, now Young Woman, competition, encouraging and mentoring generations of young people along the way.

A long-serving Director and Group Delegate supporting our western shows, Sue’s knowledge, leadership and commitment have made a lasting contribution to AgShows NSW and our Member Shows.

Congratulations Sue on this very well-deserved honour, and thank you for your remarkable contribution to the agricultural show movement. 👏🌾
