•Encourage children to be involved in community groups with our support as well as recognising the importance of different cultures, customs and beliefs.
•Provide a nutritional menu focussing on input and feedback from parents and children.
•Encourage independence and responsibility towards the children’s well-being and active life style.
•Foster a healthy attitude towards social and emotional expression.
•Promote the importance of play where children:
a. Learn at their own pace through involvement and imagination. Are given opportunities to create, explore, experiment and be active. Interact with others whilst being engaged in various experiences.
•Encourage individual and group activities that incorporate a wide range of resources for effective communication.
•Provide activities that encourage children to communicate verbally and nonverbally.
