Workout Indooroopilly is the perfect gym for anyone looking to be part of Indooroopilly’s well-established community.
Compared to the 24 hour, large franchise, supermarket gyms; Workout memberships appear to be a little costly at first, but end up costing no more than a daily coffee, and is a lot better for you. If you take advantage of the extensive classes they have on offer, and make it part of your daily routine, it’s definitely worth paying a little extra for.
One downside for some will be the lack of mirrors in the workout rooms. If you’re the type of person enjoys lifting weights, while romantically gazing at yourself in the mirror, this might not be your cup of tea.
Like a fine wine that gets better with age, so are the majority of members who have matured to that point in life where it’s not about how much you can lift, or how much noise you can make dropping the weights on the floor. They don’t care what they look like, it’s more about who they are. It’s all about respecting each other’s space and letting others go at their own pace. Slow and steady wins the race in this gym.
The staff are extremely friendly and consistently greet you with a smile. They even remember your name. They actually care about your technique and progress without having the ulterior motive to sign you up to their next personal training session.
You can tell that each and every one of them enjoys working and working out there. It’s a lifestyle and career choice for them, not just something they’re doing to get through Uni.
If you’ve walked in feeling tired and cranky, it’s hard to walk out of there in the same mood.
Overall it’s a great gym and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of joining and meeting some genuinely nice people.
