π¨βπ§βπ¦ Fatherβs Day Week πβ¨
Last week at OSHC, children celebrated Fatherβs Day through a range of creative, active and meaningful experiences. Throughout the week, children had the opportunity to explore what makes their dads, grandads and special people in their lives unique and important to them. π
Children participated in a variety of hands-on activities, including creating personalised Fatherβs Day cards, decorating magnets and designing their own Fatherβs Day ties. π¨ππ§²
These creative experiences encouraged children to express their ideas, make individual choices and use their imagination while developing their fine motor skills and creativity.
The celebrations continued with Fatherβs Day-themed gym games, where children were encouraged to be active, work together, follow instructions and participate in friendly challenges. πββοΈπββοΈβ½
We also explored Fatherβs Day chalk art, giving children the opportunity to create colourful drawings and share their thoughts and ideas through visual expression. πποΈ
It was wonderful to see the childrenβs enthusiasm and creativity throughout the week. These experiences provided opportunities for children to develop confidence, independence, collaboration and communication skills while celebrating the important relationships and people in their lives. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦πβ¨
