๐ค๐โค๏ธ Reconciliation Week ๐ฟ
This week, children and young people participated in Reconciliation Week, engaging in meaningful experiences that encouraged respect, inclusion and a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories. The week provided opportunities for children to come together, reflect and learn about the importance of reconciliation within our community.
Throughout the week, they participated in a colouring-in competition, contributed to a collaborative community installation activity titled โAll Inโ using bubbles for a display, and engaged in traditional Aboriginal group games in the gym. These experiences encouraged teamwork, communication and cooperation while promoting conversations around belonging, connection and respect for culture and community.
Children and young people demonstrated creativity, collaboration and curiosity as they explored these experiences together and contributed to a shared display that reflected inclusion and unity. It was wonderful to see children actively participating, supporting one another and engaging in meaningful learning throughout the week. ๐ค๐โค๏ธ
