🏉🐯AFL Q & A at Bridgey 🐯🏉
Today our Grade 3-6, were lucky to travel to Bridgewater Primary School to meet three AFLW players from the Richmond Tigers. Sierra Grieves #6, Caitlin Greiser #9 and Montana Breuldsen #8, who spoke to the children about their pathway into footy and what they like about the game, before having a kick with our students.
Later our students participated in AFL related activities run by the lovely staff at Bridgewater PS.
We’d like to thank Bridgewater P.S. for organising this opportunity and including our school in this fun and informative morning! 👏🏻👏🏻

🚰🚽 IT’S ALL HAPPENING AT IPS! 🚽🚰

It’s been a busy week at IPS! Lots of noise and new developments making way for new toilets and new solar panels.
Today saw the arrival of our new staff toilet block. Our students were lucky to miss some traditional learning time to watch the lifting of the new toilet block over the top of the old Kurting school house! For lots it was the first time seeing a crane in action. There was concern from the students about the safety of our art room and bikes nearby but the workmen had it all under control. It’s going to look great with some new landscaping around the edges.

🤓Education Week Open Day tomorrow!! 🥳
A reminder to families and special people that we are holding an open day at school tomorrow (Tuesday) as part of Education Week and we invite you to come along and join in the fun!
From 9am - 11am prospective families are encouraged to come into the school to have a tour with the Principal, check out our learning spaces and discover more about what we do here at IPS.
From 11.40am - 1.50pm the students will be participating in three different interactive activities with their family members. Our teachers have been busily getting their activities ready for a fun session with you all.
Tomorrow evening at 6pm Mrs Luckman & Mrs Lawson will be hosting an information evening for our 2027 Foundation families.

We invite you to come and celebrate Education Week with us and check out all the amazing things we have to offer at IPS! 😄

We would love to welcome our families and wider community to help us celebrate Education Week on 19 May from 11:40am to 1:50pm.

Students and families will rotate through three engaging activities across the session. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community, share in student learning, and celebrate the importance of education.

We warmly invite you to join us for this special event and enjoy the activities alongside your child/children. It is a great chance to connect with staff, see learning in action, and be part of the celebrations for Education Week.
