Book Week 2026.
What a week of colour, characters, costumes and BOOKS!

Our students and staff certainly brought some of their favourite stories to life, with plenty of creativity, big smiles and a whole lot of Book Week fun! 💛

Today are our book week parades!! EY & MY 9:15. JS & Seniors 12:40. Parents welcome but please remember street parking or Queens Park and walk across. We look forward to seeing everyone’s costumes 😄

Ipswich Special School Thrift Shop

Wednesday mornings 9:30-10:30am senior students will be running our school's thrift shop (not open if it’s raining) - Everything is only $1!

We are seeking donations of toys in good condition. 

We are located outside the main school fence, within the middle car park, behind the flexi school.

We have a wide range of adults and children's clothing, shoes, winter beanies and scarves, jewellery, toys, homewares, dress ups, books, DVDs, the list goes on.

We have an eftpos machine available and are happy to take cash.

So, if you're looking for a bargain, or just need some Wednesday morning retail therapy, the senior students and staff would love to see you at the Ipswich Special School Thrift Shop.
