Frangipani and red dragon fruit cuttings available again from The Crooked House Library ✨
Two really BIG cuttings out there (one with roots!) if you want something more advanced/established looking!
Have a great weekend 😊

While I can appreciate that stepping in animal p**p is both unfortunate and unpleasant (we've all been there!) but then to wipe your shoe (I am assuming footwear) on to a community street library instead of the grass or the kerb is beyond disgusting!
Please be considerate to those who create and maintain these spaces for the public and supervise your children, because I am truly hoping a grown up would not do something like this.

Now off to manifest a better remainder of my day...... ✨

Red Dragon fruit cuttings available at the library today! ❤️
Lots of books to choose from plus a puzzle in the top!
I will restock the bookmarks shortly.

I've been a bit disappointed this week.... 😢
Books left out on the grass, doors left open, dog poo, squished fruit, peels and litter scattered about.
Please be respectful to the people who take the time to create these spaces for the community so that people can use them safely too! ✨

Run, don't walk!!!!! Twilight or soon to be twilight fans some beautiful human has donated all four books!!! 🦇

Both grown ups and children's boxes are stacked full of books so come and stock up in time for the school holidays!

It's Easter weekend and the start of the school holidays!!!!
What better way to start them than by visiting your local street libraries!
If you are visiting The Crooked House Library you may also want to check out Chelsea's Street Library and Chapters and Charcoal Street Library both located not too far away in Flinders View!

Check the comments for the goodies I have just added into the Library- toys, trinkets, keychains and bookmarks available! ✨

A bit of a book restock and refresh, with a sprinkle of Easter themed surprises 🐰
It was nice to see some visitors borrowing and leaving some books to share with their community today ✨

This is happening more and more lately.... ☹️
If you or your children are using the Library please make sure the doors are closed when you are finished.
Leaving them open means books can get wet, fall out or get damaged meaning I will need to throw them away! 🗑️

I love being able to offer a Street Library to our local community but need it to be respected so we can all continue to enjoy it. 📚

There are lots of fantastic newly donated reads and bookmarks currently available to check out currently ✨

There are some established Frangipani (white) branches propped up against the library for whoever would like to take them. The cut end has been dried so they are ready for planting into a pot or the ground. ✨

26/01/2026

Wishing everyone the best of luck for the first day of school tomorrow! ✨
To help ease those first-day butterflies, I have handmade lucky clover keychains available for you and your little ones.
We also have plenty of trinkets and a wonderful collection of books waiting to be borrowed! 🍀

Library is currently well stocked, come and take a look!
I will be trialing trinket boxes soon in the library.
Please supervise when using the library, please do not take the boxes away or leave things in a mess.
If this is successful I aim to refill with donated trinkets as they come in.
Donations for the trinket boxes are very welcome ✨
