Claremont is proud to celebrate the fantastic achievements of Upper Middle students Jiziah and Nathanial, who represented our school at the Regional Cross Country in the Multi-class division.
Held last week at John Paul College, Daisy Hill, the 3km course was tough, featuring a steep and muddy hill that tested both endurance and determination. Despite the challenging conditions, both boys competed with great effort, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Their strong performances earned them a 3rd and 4th place and selection in the Metropolitan West team, and they will now go on to compete at the State Championships in July — an outstanding accomplishment that places them among Queensland’s top young multi-class runners.
Congratulations, Jiziah and Nathanial! The Claremont community is proud of you and wishes you all the best for the next stage of your journey.

Today we had a visit from Bundamba Fire Station Queensland Fire Department. The students in the Junior Sector were given a talk on fire safety, what a fireman might look like if they come to your house and got to use the hose. The students had a great time meeting the Fire Officers and they loved shooting the water out over the fence into the garden.

Friday 29th May is an opportunity for the Claremont community to wear a touch of yellow, celebrate First Nations culture and learn about our shared histories.
The money raised will fund education and wellbeing programs for children and families, on Country and in community. 's Ground

Today we reflected on the theme *‘All In’* for reconciliation in the hall. We listened to the sounds of the natural Australian landscape and relaxed under the stars. Students engaged with First Nations crafts, activities, and sensory experiences in a calm and immersive environment.
