Australian Treasury fudged the numbers to justify Albanese's and Chalmers's CGT tax grab. Then lied to the parliament and the people about it.

Average workers (Labor voters) will be $5200 worse off when the new Tax comes in.
Not only are Albo and Chalmers liars, so is the head of Treasury.

Exclusive: Jim Chalmers’ top number cruncher has wrongly calculated the benefit of the current housing tax system for average workers while attempting to sell the benefits of Labor’s tax package.

An Ipswich man has been charged after allegedly posting online threats to kill a federal parliamentarian.
An Australian Federal Police (AFP) investigation was launched after authorities were alerted to an alleged online death threat targeting a federal parliamentarian on May 18.
Police alleged the same social media account was used to publish a series of further threatening posts over a four-day period between May 14 and May 18.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a North Ipswich property on Sunday, where officers allegedly seized an electronic device believed to have been used to publish the threatening posts online.
A 53-year-old man was charged with three counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.
AFP Detective Acting Inspector Chris Crawford said authorities would not tolerate online threats directed at elected officials.
“Public officials have the same right as everyone else in Australia to do their jobs without being threatened,” Det Act Insp Crawford said.
“Individuals are not anonymous nor out of reach of the AFP when posting threats online. The AFP has the capability to identify offenders and bring them before the courts.”
