Their courage, sacrifice, and mateship are values that continue to guide us not only in times of conflict but also in our everyday lives and service to the community.

At Irymple CFA, we stand proudly in remembrance, reflecting on the legacy left behind and the freedoms we are privileged to protect.

We will remember them.

⏰ Daylight Savings is ending – don’t forget to turn your clocks back this weekend!

It’s also the perfect time to check your smoke alarms 🔥🏠
👉 Test each alarm to make sure it’s working
👉 Replace batteries if needed
👉 Check expiry dates – most alarms need replacing every 10 years

A quick check could save lives – especially while we’re spending more time indoors as the weather cools down.

The amazing volunteers from Irymple CFA will be out and about this Easter Thursday and Good Friday raising funds for the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne 🏥✨

With all this wet weather around, please don’t risk driving or walking through floodwater. It only takes a small amount of moving water to sweep a car away, and the road underneath may be damaged or unsafe.

No trip is worth your life. Turn around, find another way, and stay safe. 💛

This Flash Flood Watch and Act is being issued for Mildura.

- Heavy rainfall is causing widespread flash flooding.
- You can stay safe by avoiding flooded and low-lying areas.
- Floodwater can be very deep, rise quickly and move fast.
- Be aware that heavy rainfall may also increase the potential for landslides and debris across roads.

If you are located in Mildura, you are in danger. You should immediately move indoors, away from floodwater. Do not enter floodwater.

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central, Mallee, North Central, North East, Northern Country, West & South Gippsland and Wimmera districts for Wednesday 11 February 2026.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.
