Friends of Wilson Reserve A volunteer conservation group dedicated to restoration of degraded bushland on the north bank of the Yarra: Wilson Reserve and Horseshoe Bend.

We have a bat box project, monthly frog monitoring survey, contribute to Fungimap, have a bird list. FOWR, now going for 25 years, is actively reclaiming degraded bushland in southern Ivanhoe and monitoring fauna - birds, frogs, bats, turtles, spiders, insects, and fungi. It conducts monthly working bees, bat box monitoring, frog surveys, and regular reporting of fungi sightings. It published a monthly newsletter
