Athlone Cottage Heritage Precinct The original Athlone Cottage was a slab hut with ant bed floor located opposite Athlone, a property near the Jandowae Dam.

Today it is maintained by volunteers from the Jandowae & District Progress & Heritage Group and open to visitors.
