Jimboomba was voted best Little Cub in the World! At the heart of our mission is a strong dedication to nurturing the potential of young individuals. Through targeted programs and initiatives, we strive to empower youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive. Whether it's supporting educational projects, mentoring programs, or leadership development activities, we believe in investing in the future generation. In addition to our focus on youth, we are also passionate about helping those in need within our community. From providing essential services to offering a helping hand during challenging times, our club members are always ready to step up and make a difference. Whether it's organizing food drives, supporting local charities, or assisting families facing hardships, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. As custodians of the Jimboomba District & Community Hall, we take great pride in preserving this important community space. Through our stewardship efforts, we ensure that the hall remains a vital hub for gatherings, events, and activities that bring people together and strengthen community bonds. One of our flagship events is the annual Step Up event, where community members come together to raise funds for various amazing causes. This event not only raises much-needed funds but also fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie among participants and supporters. Another highlight on our calendar is the Australia Day bike ride, a fun-filled event that not only promotes health and wellness but also raises funds for important community projects and initiatives. Through these events and others, we continue to make a positive impact and contribute to the well-being of our community. The Rotary Club of Jimboomba Inc is proud to be a part of Rotary International, a global network of volunteers dedicated to creating positive, lasting change. The Objects of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:-
1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life.
4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
