Congratulations to Sean, BIZLINKs very own running man 🏃🏽‍♂️, on participating in the Bibra Running Festival 2026, this marks his third marathon to date!
Held in beautiful surroundings with perfect weather, the event was not only an enjoyable challenge but also the beginning of an exciting new goal. Next year Sean turns 66 and is hoping to complete his first ultra-marathon covering 66 kilometers.
Sean will be joining a running club later this year and encourages anyone interested in improving their fitness to come along to Parkrun on Saturday mornings. Whether you run, jog, or walk, everyone is welcome. 😁

A Proud Moment for All Abilities Basketball! ⭐️

We are incredibly proud to share that our All Abilities Basketball Team, coordinated by Stephenie Fielding, has been recognised with an Enablement Award for Excellence in Creating Inclusive Environments in Australia 2026! 💫

MEDIA RELEASE:
“The Enablement Awards were presented at a ceremony in Perth today.

The Enablement Awards were created to celebrate and reward excellence, innovation and exemplary achievements in the disability care sector in
Australasia. The Awards recognise the rapid growth of this sector in the region, and the capacity of individuals to influence and set new performance standards.

The Awards focus on elevated performance; the creation of new business models; contrarian thinking; recognising and embracing new trends; market leadership;
inspirational performance and the elevation of the customer experience.

The evaluation methodology required the Awards Secretariat to apply the following test to the final selected candidate in each category, “Is this claimant
the best performed, most meritious, most innovative and most courageous in the category?”

Steph, this award is such a beautiful testament to your hard work, dedication, commitment and compassion.
You give so much of yourself to others and are always putting people first, never expecting anything in return. Your kindness, selflessness and genuine passion for creating opportunities for everyone are truly inspiring.

We are so incredibly proud of you, Steph. This recognition is so well deserved, and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving ❤️

Thank you for everything you do and for being the amazing person you are 🫶

CHAMPS ❤️

Tuesday night’s training was a special one 🫶

Fresh off the back of a Championship win last weekend, Rockingham Flames players Daniel Dech, Travis Durnin, Adam New, Jaelen Toby, Emmett Naar and Dean Supljeglav took time out of their busy schedules to show our team some love ❤️

Court 4 was buzzing, with players, spectators, volunteers and of course the Flames Champions themselves 🔥

To say we are grateful for their support is an understatement. Good Luck this weekend at the National Finals boys, Rockingham is behind you ❤️

Have You Completed the 2026 Census?
Tonight is Census Night (11 August 2026) and every person in Australia is encouraged to be counted. The Census helps governments, community organisations and service providers understand what services are needed in local communities, including employment, health, transport, housing and disability supports. For more information, visit the Australian Bureau of Statistics Census website.

If you haven’t received your instructions, you still have time to complete the Census.

You can complete the Census online by visiting census.abs.gov.au - now or as soon as possible after Census night, 11 August 2026.

Select the ‘Continue to Census form’ button and then select the ‘Get a Census number’ button.

This will prompt you to enter your mobile number and assign you a Census number.

If you would like to complete using a paper form, you can request one online or by calling the Census Contact Centre on 1800 181 227.
