π Week 5 at Julia Creek State School
We caught up with our little Teddy this week to celebrate 100 days of Prep! π§Έπ Doesnβt he make a very cute old man? π΄π»π
It has been a busy week at school, with sickness and a number of events affecting student attendance. We understand that children do get sick and that family and community events are an important part of life in our community. β€οΈ
However, frequent absences can disrupt learning. When students are away, they miss important teaching and learning, and this can make it harder for them to keep up with the class. It also means that students who are present may need to revisit learning so that everyone can move forward together.
For our Years 3β6 students, absences towards the end of the week can mean missing important lessons in English, Mathematics, Science and Design Technologies.
With only a small number of students in each class, every student makes a difference, and every day counts. πβ¨
We are looking forward to seeing as many of our students back at school as possible this week, ready to learn, connect and make the most of every school day! πβ€οΈ
Every day counts. Every lesson matters. π
