Look at moi! Now I’ve got one thing to say to youuu… don’t get in the way of emergency service vehicles! 🚑

Like the inseparable Kath and Kim, our ambulances and volunteers work side by side to respond when the community needs us most. When those lights and sirens are on, it means someone is having a very bad day – and every second matters. It’s nice, it’s different, it’s… life-saving!

So please slow down, merge left if you can, and give emergency vehicles a clear path. If you can’t move over, slow down and indicate left until they’ve safely passed.

And remember, when first responders are attending a roadside incident, flashing lights on a stationary vehicle mean you must slow down, move over if possible, and pass at a maximum of 40 km/h – no matter what lane your beep beep Barina is in! 🚘

As the year comes to a close, we’d like to let our community know that the Kalgoorlie office will be closed for a well-earned break from Monday 22 December, reopening on Monday 19 January.
