We had lots to celebrate at this weeks assembly!
Glenn was the proud recipient of the principals award for all of his work and effort organising out sports days events 👟
A big congratulations to students in Johnson (Red) Team who took home the most points awarded trophy this year ❤️ The best spirit award went to Freeman (Black) Team 🖤 And well done to the age level champions 🥳
Our 80% attenders for the first 5 weeks of Term 3 enjoyed a yummy pizza lunch 🍕
And as always, well done to our weekly Stars of Week, Perfect Attenders and TRUE Legends 🤩

Last week we held our annual Sports Days 👟👟
The students had a fantastic few days competing in events such as running, high jump, shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and twilight running events!
We were lucky enough to be joined by students from Nitjpurru and Lajamanu also.
A big thanks to Glenn who made the whole event possible and everyone else you helped out 🤩

Recently our High School girls headed to Darwin for camp!

At Swell pool at Palmerston, the girls improved their swimming stroke techniques and learnt about rescue techniques. Lots of fun in the heated pool!

The girls visited the MAGNT and saw the 2026 NATSIAA exhibiting the finalist’s paintings and sculptures. We then looked at the natural history museum and some historical boats.

The girls visited Lee Point to be welcomed to Larrakia country.

Erika organised a makeup artist to show the girls how to use it.

The girls had a great time on the camp, looked after each other, and enjoying some relaxing time with their teachers ☀️🌴

At school tomorrow!

🌈🏃🏾‍♀️ COLOUR RUN FUN AT KALKARINGI SCHOOL! 🏃🏾‍♂️🌈

We’re excited to be joining Kalkaringi School for a Colour Run this Thursday… Get the kids to school on Thursday to get their very own Healthy Harold shirt and join in for the Colour run! 🎉

Families come down to the school and get involved with the kids as they get colourful and have a whole lot of fun! 💥🌈

TWILIGHT SPORTS EVENING!!
Don’t forget to bring the family down to the oval at 5pm tonight for our twilight students and community running events 👟 everyone welcome to participate!
Daguragu bus run will be happening at 4.30pm so keep an eye out for the school bus 🚌

What a busy day at Kalkaringi School, we had over 100 kids!!!

Tomorrow and Wednesday is our Sports Carnival event, starting from 9am so please make sure students are at school on time so they don’t miss out on events 👟

Can’t believe we are half way through Term 3 already! We had a big assembly today celebrating our Term 3 100% & 80% attenders, Stars of the Week, Perfect Attenders and TRUE Legends 🥳
Darius received the principal award for improving his school attendance this term and helping others when in need 🤩🤩
Next week is a big week at school, so keep an eye on our page to see all the fun things we get up to!!

We are so proud!! Kalkaringi school primary years represented our school in Katherine Beats-Traveller this year and had a great time and experience there. A special thanks to Per Forsberg for visiting Kalkarindji for numerous times to get kids ready for singing 🎤🎶
