Kangarilla Country Fire Service

Kangarilla Country Fire Service is a local volunteer brigade committed to providing the community with support and services in emergencies.

Since 1940 the Kangarilla CFS brigade has been providing support and emergency services to the local community. The brigade responds to a variety of incidents including bushfires, domestic fires, motor vehicle accidents, floods, storm damage, search and rescue and a multitude of other situations. The brigade trains on Monday nights at 7:30pm at the Kangarilla fire station. If you have any question

It’s that time of year again 🍫

Good Friday we will be on our annual Easter Egg Drive. We will do a lap of the Kangarilla Football Oval and will then head to Spring Avenue to share some Easter eggs with everyone on the side of the road.

Tell your family and friends so the can come and join you as you pop down to either the oval or Spring Avenue to help us share in some Easter fun.

Bit of a difference as we responded to a Tree Down this morning on Scenic Road. See anything where it shouldn’t be..? 👀

At 02:57am this morning Kangarilla Alpha 34 and the Mawson Bulk Water Carrier were responded to join a Mawson Cascading Strike Team to a scrub and grass fire in Macclesfield.

The difficult terrain, fire behaviour and time of night made it a very challenging night. All crews did a fantastic job working together to extinguish the fire and protect the properties in the line of fire.

The rain was a very welcome sight throughout today! Great work everyone 🚒🔥

** GRASS FIRE 639 RAZOR BACK ROAD 8:11am 6th February 2026 **

As you may have seen this morning the CFS were responded to a grass fire on Razor Back Road Kangarilla. After crews from Kangy, Clarendon, Aircraft, DEW and Forestry responded we are happy to report there is no fire as it was a smoke haze from a fire in a different area.

Thank you to the vigilant members of our Community who called it in, continuing to support us in keeping Kangy safe 🚒
