National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to reflect on how each of us can contribute to reconciliation.
This year’s theme, “All In”, reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility. It calls on all Australians to step forward, listen, learn and take meaningful action towards a more respectful and inclusive future.
At CFA, we recognise the importance of building strong relationships with First Nations peoples and communities, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued, respected and included.
We encourage our members and communities to learn more, get involved and raise your voices for reconciliation.

What was once a long term goal has now become a short term reality 👏
Thanks to an extraordinary donation of over $154,000 from the Maryborough Lions Club, the Goldfields Group will soon have a new Forward Command Vehicle (FCV) to support incident management across the district.

FCVs play a vital role on the fireground, helping to coordinate response efforts and protect lives and property.

A heartfelt thank you to the Maryborough Lions Club, your generosity and commitment to supporting local brigades makes a real difference to our community. 💛
