Notice to Mount Penang visitors and dog owners 📣 Access to the Parklands’ Off-leash Area will be temporarily impacted next week (13-17 July) while scheduled w**d control spraying takes place.

Signage will be displayed when the works are taking place, and visitors are asked to avoid the Off-leash Area while this is underway. The exact day/timing of this will be weather-dependent.

On-leash dog walking in the other general Parkland’s areas can continue as usual 🐾

Have you spotted the floating barge in Gosford’s Brisbane Water? 💦 We’re planning an improved shared path connection from Point Clare to the Gosford CBD, and investigations are underway to help us understand how this could be achieved.

The barge will spend around 3 weeks testing the seabed, and will not include any permanent construction.

These investigation works are part of the Gosford Waterfront project being delivered by HCCDC on behalf of NSW Government.

There’s a lot happening in Mount Penang this weekend! 👇

🥳 A private function is being held in the space opposite the off-leash dog area on Saturday, with set-up starting today.
🍓 The regular Gosford City Farmers Market will take place in the gardens from 8am on Sunday.
⚽ Central Coast Sports College is hosting the Central Coast Mariners and Sydney Olympic youth teams on Sunday for some friendly matches from 9am.

While the gardens, Waterfall Café and off-leash area are open as usual, we ask visitors to please take care and be patient with extra traffic and people in the parklands.
