Last week we were proud to host an ESO Forum focused on strengthening education and employment pathways for veterans and currently serving ADF members.

The forum brought together a mix of full‑time, part‑time and veteran attendees, both in person and online, reinforcing the importance of connection, shared experience, and practical support across the Defence community.

We were fortunate to hear from a strong lineup of presenters who generously shared their time, expertise and lived experience

Wishing everyone in the UNSWR family a safe and happy Easter break! 🐰🐣
As we take a moment to rest and recharge, it is the perfect time to reflect on the incredible pace and productivity of the first quarter. A massive shout-out goes to our dedicated staff for their exceptional work in delivering high-standard training to 250 trainees across several intensive courses: 40M Operator Course, PTOCP MOD 1B, LCM and SUBJ 1 for CPL (MOD 1 and MOD 2).

The professionalism and commitment shown by the instructors and support team ensure that our members are prepared and capable. Your hard work is the backbone of the Regiment’s success.

Whether you are heading away or staying local, enjoy the time with family and friends. Stay safe on the roads and we look forward to seeing everyone back and ready for the challenges ahead!

It was also a fantastic opportunity to recognise the commendable performance of WO2 Steve Matejka and celebrate the Unit's 74th Birthday.

We've broken ground at UNSW Canberra City!

Today marks a significant milestone for UNSW Canberra with the turning of the first soil at our Canberra City precinct. By 2028, the site will transform into a world-class hub for education, research, innovation and community, in the heart of the nation’s capital.

As part of the event, Construction Control was announced as the construction partner for the project. It is expected that the peak construction work force will be 350 workers per day, providing a significant boost for the local ACT economy.
