A truly humbling and reflective few days.

OC Training Company, MAJ Jason Vaughan was honoured to be selected to attend the 110th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Fromelles, culminating in the dedication ceremony for PTE Leslie Roy Martin.

"To stand on the ground where so many Australians served and sacrificed, and to be part of remembering PTE Martin, was a deeply moving and unforgettable experience. It was a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice and enduring legacy of those who served before us."

"A special thanks to Australian Army’s Unrecovered War Casualties team, WO1 Dean O’Brien and Mr Allan Cooper for their important and excellent work, providing us with a truly moving and life-changing experience."

The RSM and AJDT were proud to attend the New South Wales Services Reception, hosted by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beasley AC, KC, Governor of New South Wales at Government House last night.

The Governor took the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the uniformed services and volunteer organisations that help keep our communities safe, protected and reassured.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Commander of Forces Command - Australian Army recently. We also welcomed Defence personnel who are studying at UNSW for a night of networking at the Regiment.

Congratulations to CAPT Bortolussi on being awarded her 3rd clasp for the Defence Long Service Medal.

Last week we were proud to host an ESO Forum focused on strengthening education and employment pathways for veterans and currently serving ADF members.

The forum brought together a mix of full‑time, part‑time and veteran attendees, both in person and online, reinforcing the importance of connection, shared experience, and practical support across the Defence community.

We were fortunate to hear from a strong lineup of presenters who generously shared their time, expertise and lived experience
