Congratulations to the Cohuna Fire Brigade for successfully completing their Road Crash Rescue reaccreditation on Monday night.

Firefighters regularly conduct skills maintenance training on all facets of fire and rescue response. This reaccreditation is a three yearly requirement that ensures confidence, capability and good governance.

Shout out to the members of Cohuna CFA who continue to develop and extend their skills in this vital community capability.

Thanks to CFA specialist response ACFO - ACFO Rick Owen and Group Officer Adrian Marshman for assessing the members on Monday night.

👉The District 20 Headquarters Brigade has been established to formalise the support functions that have successfully operated within District 20 for many years. It is a support brigade made up of volunteers from across the District, providing specialist assistance where and when it is needed.

AusAlert is a new national warning system that uses the latest technology to send emergency messages to compatible mobile devices during local and national disasters.
AusAlert messages keep communities informed so they can take action, saving lives and property.
This system will be tested on Monday 27th July at 2pm.
