Well that's another📖 Book Week📖 done and dusted!
Congratulations to all the children, teachers, families, businesses and staff who participated in making this such a great, yearly event for Kerang.🌞🎶🎷🎻

Gannawarra Library Service Programs Officer, Amanda spent the past few months working with children from Kerang’s five schools to produce a new book, 'In Kerang We Keep Busy!'
This book features drawings from around 200 children, highlighting what they do to keep busy in Kerang.
Developed to incorporate the 2026 Children's Book Week theme of 'Symphony of
Stories', the book is available to borrow from Kerang's Sir John Gorton Library, with images also on display in Patchell Plaza. Each school has also been given a copy of the book, and an electronic version will soon be available on BorrowBox.

Visitors to Kerang's Patchell Plaza are able to explore how children from Kerang's five schools keep busy.

During the past few months the Gannawarra Library Service has worked with Kerang Christian College, Kerang Primary School, Kerang Technical High School, Kerang South Primary School and St Joseph's Primary School to produce a new book, In Kerang We Keep Busy!

This book features drawings from around 200 children, highlighting what they do to keep busy in Kerang.

Developed to incorporate the 2026 Children's Book Week theme of 'Symphony of Stories', the book is currently available to view at Kerang's Sir John Gorton Library, with images also on display in Patchell Plaza.

Each school has also been given a copy of the book, and an electronic version will soon be available on BorrowBox.

Come along tomorrow tonight to the Sir John Gorton Library, Kerang for an hour helping solve a very infuriating book puzzle 😠

This display is available to view in the Sir John Gorton Library Foyer during the month of August.
